Dr. Geeta Yadav, MD, FRCPC

FOUNDER OF FACET DERMATOLOGY

Dr. Geeta Yadav is a board-certified dermatologist and the founder of FACET Dermatology in Toronto. She completed her medical training at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, her dermatology residency at the University of Toronto, and a Master of Health Science at Johns Hopkins. Her expertise spans both medical and cosmetic dermatology, with particular focus on skin of color, inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis, and advanced aesthetic treatments including injectables, energy-based devices, and science-backed skincare.

As the lead dermatologist at FACET, she also oversees a robust clinical trials program that brings patients access to emerging therapies and innovation in dermatology. Known for results that look natural and tailored, she combines evidence-based treatment planning with an artistic and individualized approach to cosmetic care.

Dr. Yadav is regularly featured in national and international publications, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Allure, and Vanity Fair. She also shares approachable, research-informed skin health education across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.Her philosophy is simple: every patient deserves expertise, clarity, and care that supports both healthy skin and lasting confidence.

Dr. Niko MacLellan, MD, FRCPC, DABD

Dr. Niko MacLellan is a board-certified dermatologist in both Canada and the United States. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Dalhousie University, graduating at the top of his class and earning the University Medal, before receiving his Doctor of Medicine from Dalhousie.

Dr. MacLellan went on to complete his dermatology training at the University of Toronto, where he served as co-chief resident in his final year. He has co-authored multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and is actively involved in medical education, teaching both residents and medical students. Dr. MacLellan is proud to be part of the FACET Dermatology team.

Dr. Marissa Joseph, MD, FRCPC (Pediatrics), FRCPC (Dermatology)

Dr. Marissa Joseph is an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto and the Medical Director of the Ricky Kanee Schachter Dermatology Centre at Women’s College Hospital. She also practices at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), where she cares for children with complex skin disease in both clinic and inpatient settings and leads a pediatric laser program.

Her clinical work spans general adult, pediatric, and surgical dermatology. Internationally recognized for her expertise in pediatric dermatology, inflammatory skin disorders, and equity, diversity, and inclusion in dermatologic care, Dr. Joseph has authored book chapters and numerous peer-reviewed publications. She has also been honoured for excellence in teaching at the University of Toronto.

Her vision for the field is both simple and ambitious: equitable, high-quality dermatologic care for everyone.

Dr. Alia Bosworth, MD, FRCPC, DABD

Dr. Alia Bosworth is a dual board-certified dermatologist in Canada and the United States. After more than a decade on the East Coast—completing her medical and dermatology training at Dalhousie University and practicing in Halifax—she returned home to Toronto to join the FACET Dermatology team.

With expertise in both medical and cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Bosworth is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, radiant skin with natural, confidence-enhancing results. She is an active member of the Canadian Dermatology Association, the Canadian Laser and Aesthetic Specialists Society, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys time with her two young daughters and can often be found at the park, in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, or staying active through yoga and pilates.
